Professor Milazzo joined the faculty of the Ohio University Department of History in the fall of 2001, where he specializes in twentieth century American history.  His areas of concentration include politics, political institutions, and federal policy, particularly after 1945. 

His publications include "U.S. Water Pollution," in Char Miller, et al., eds., Water and the Environment Since 1945: Global Perspectives (Detroit: St. James Press/Gale Publications, 2001), pp. 257-63 and "The Environment," in Julian Zelizer, ed, The American Congress: The Building of Democracy (Boston: Houghton-Mifflin, 2004), pp. 601-615.  His book, Unlikely Environmentalists: Congress and Clean Water, 1945-1972 will be published by the University of Kansas Press in Fall 2006.
