CLASS OF 2007 NEWS
Special Announcement from Dean Fidler:
It is with pleasure that I share the news that all of our Honors Tutorial
College Spring graduates will be graduating either cum laude (10 students),
magna cum laude (14 students), or summa cum laude (16 students). The
g.p.a. range for graduating summa cum laude (with highest honors) is 3.9 -4.0. This level of academic achievement has taken place within programs of study that are some of the
most challenging on campus.
The HTC Class of 2007 is also remarkable for the degree of their involvement outside the classroom. They have been a source of significant student leadership and have participated widely in cultural and volunteer activities.
Many thanks to the HTC Directors of Studies for their guidance and mentoring of these students and to the faculty who dedicated themselves to their instruction. Also thanks to the staff at HTC--Jan Hodson, Kathy White, Ann Brown, Irene Weigly, and Jeff St. John--for always putting the students first.
