At the Honors Tutorial College, you'll find a tight knit community that promotes scholarly thinking as well as involvement and leadership in our community. Our instruction is based on the Oxford and Cambridge tutorial system, where the students engage in one-on-one or small group instruction with a faculty member. This environment allows the students to shape their education in individualized directions, while enabling them to challenge themselves above and beyond the level of an averagecollege student. This tutorial-based education lays the foundation for success in a graduate or professional schools, as well as for life-long scholarly thinking. Our college promotes students to be self-motivated, creative, and disciplined, while thriving in Athens' quintessential college atmosphere. The Honors Tutorial College is home to about 220 students, allowing our scholars to be involved in a thriving academic community where they can work together to achieve great things in the University.
